I don't know why I just started writing this blog. I don't even know what I am going to say. I will just let the words flow, and let my fingers hit the keyboard!
What is humble?
I mean, how do we know that we have the right to use this word? Is it something that happens naturally or does it talke a lot of friggin' hard work!!!!.
I don't believe that it comes naturally, I don't believe that it's easy. Sure, it makes you sound like a great person to say, "I am humble" but is it 100% true???
Don't get me wrong I am very thankful for all the things that God has done for me, what he's doing for me, and what he is going to do for me, but sometimes I just want to stay in a shell and enjoy it all by myself! (he! he!)
It takes me praying everyday, before every performance, before I walk out the door. I literally beg him to help me stay humble. Don't let me forget anything! Not saying that I have reached this BIG status, but in my heart and my eyes, I've had the opportunity to experience things that I only dreamed about as a child!
In my opinion you have to work at it everyday, because you will look up one day and wonder who in the world is this staring back at you in the mirror! I don't want to ever lose myself!
Sooo.. while we are all traveling this LOOOOONG journey, let's just vow to NEVER FORGET!
Can I say it again (in my preaching voice) HA! HA!
NEVER FORGET!
Because, the things we remember; the struggles, the pain, the times we wanted to quit, those things will keep us humble!
